Hey there! I’m Amanda Jane, a website and brand designer based in beautiful Denver, CO. I’m originally from North Carolina, where I graduated from NC State University with degrees in Business Marketing and Communication Media. My love for design kicked off in college when I started creating websites and graphics for clubs and friends. That’s when I knew I wanted design to play a big role in my future career in marketing.
After graduation, I moved to Nashville and joined the marketing team at a radio station. We were a small but mighty crew, so I jumped in to help with creative projects and taught myself Photoshop along the way. That passion for design soon led me to start freelancing outside of work, and before I knew it, Modern Jane Creative was born. Now, I’m living my small business dreams, creating strategic, beautiful designs that help other businesses shine.
When I’m not deep in design mode, you’ll find me at a yoga class, catching a live concert, wandering through an art museum, or hanging out at home with my husband, our two cats, and our dog.
From Family Legacy to Creative Dream
The name "Modern Jane Creative" is more than just a business name; it’s a nod to the incredible women in my family who’ve been trailblazers in their own right. My great-grandmother, grandma, mom, and me all share the middle name Jane, and each of us built businesses to be proud of. I wanted to create a business that honors the entrepreneurial spirit of the badass women before me while bringing fresh, innovative ideas to life. I aim to fuse tradition with contemporary flair with every project.
